These are the perfect solution to that! Each kit includes everything you need to set up multiple fun sensory play activities for your little one with none of the hassle or time normally involved in sensory play.

Each kit Includes:

--🌈-- a bag of Rainbow play Rice
--🌈-- a bag of Rainbow play Pasta
--🌈-- A spoon & tongs to practice fine motor skills and build the hand muscles needed for writing
--🌈-- (3) cups to practice scooping, dumping and filling which are so important for understanding beginning math concepts
--🌈-- Wood blocks, Shapes, Pom Poms, a toy dinosaur and toy unicorn to mix in with your rice or pasta and have children search for
--🌈-- (4) double sided activity sheets each with one side that features and activity designed to be use with your rainbow rice and on the other side and activity designed to be used with your rainbow pasts. The activities are designed to help little ones to practice sorting and matching skills
--🌈-- all in a closable container to keep all the fun contained when it’s not being played with


Some fun activities to do with these sets include;

--🌈-- hiding objects such as the included letters or small toys in the rice and have children search for them
--🌈-- use tongs, spoons and scoops to have children practice scooping, dumping and filling
--🌈-- use kitchen teaspoon and tablespoon measuring cups to have children fill each of them with rice, this is great for math skills learning how much rice each cup can hold
--🌈-- have children sort the pasta and rice by colour or by shape (this one will take quite a while so it's good for at least the time it takes to enjoy your coffee 😉)

BENEFITS OF SENSORY PLAY:

Open ended play such as sorting promotes shape and colour recognition. Using a spoon or tongs to scoop the rice also allow kids to practice gripping skills and strengthen hand muscles which is so important for the development of their hands before learning to write or colour. Having children search through the rice to find hidden objects or filling measuring cups or small containers helps children to practice fine motor skills, problem solving skills and math skills.



PLEASE NOTE:

Best to use with adult supervision. Not recommended for children under 3 due to some small parts. Because of the way the rice and pasta is dyed it is not edible, it is meant for play only.
The boxes come in an assortment of colours including white, green, blue and red. If you have a preference please note it in the "notes to seller" field when you're checking out and I'll make sure to use that colour. If no colour is specified I'll use the white container.

If you are in the GTA and interested in local delivery I can delivery within the GTA (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Caledon, Georgetown) for between $5 - $15 depending on your location

Typically these are made and shipped within 3-5 days of placing your order.
Once the set is assembled and carefully packaged to get on its way to you I will email you with a tracking number so you can watch for your package to arrive.
